Examinations
Examinations are provided by a combination of the doctor and the paraoptometric assistants. The eyes and the comlpete vision system are thoroughly examined to ensure healthy and efficient functioning. The examination will vary from patient to patient depending on the health of the individual and their visual needs. Typically, it may include; Medical History Measurement of visual acuity Pupil dilation (to evaluate the back part of the eyes) Intraocular pressure (Glaucoma) Blood pressure Visual field test Analysis Diagnosis Prescription (lenses or medicine) Prognosis


Optical Dispensary
We provide the highest quality lenses, from the simplest to the most sophisticated technical advancements. We are happy to maintain and repair your glasses, should they become broken or damaged. Our dispensary carries a wide selection of designer frames to enhance your appearance. Our highly qualified and friendly optician and staff will help to style, adjust and fit your glasses to you for extended comfort, vision, and fashion.


Contact Lenses
We prescribe and evaluate all major brands of soft and rigid contact lenses. Additionally, we prescribe custom designed contact lenses for special needs as well as special eye problems. Specialized fitting may include: monovision, bifocal contact lenses, astigmatism contacts, and keratoconus contacts. We are highly experienced in modifying and polishing contacts. Our staff are able to answer many of your questions and are available for ongoing contact lens instruction and training.


Specialty Services
Treatment of Disease and Injury We treat some eye diseases and injuries. LASIK We provide consultation and management for LASIK and other refractive and corrective eye surgeries. Humphrey Matrix™ Perimeter The Matrix Perimeter utilizes Welch Allyn Frequency Doubling Technology. It represents a significant breakthrough in visual field testing by combining early glaucoma detection capabilities, tools to characterize glaucoma and basic glaucoma management tools. Stratus OCT™ The Stratus OCT incorporates optical coherence tomography technology to provide comprehensive imaging and measurement of glaucoma and retinal disease. Stratus OCT is the gold standard in vivo imaging device for the posterior segment and offers proven reproducibility for disease management. Retinal Photography The TRC-NW6 retinal camera is the ideal instrument for quick, easy, non-invasive digital image acquisition of the internal eye. Digital photographs are taken of the retina, without dilating the eye in most cases, to record a permanent baseline image, or to document disease such as diabetes, macular degeneration, glaucomatous optic disk, retinal nevus or scar, and more. For the best ophthalmologic care it is important to trace these disorders in an early stage.

We welcome most insurance plans. We are happy to submit claims to your primary insurance carrier. The following is a partial list of the many insurance plans to which we submit claims: Premera and Premera Blue Cross, Regence Blue Shield, Regence Boeing, Aetna, Cigna, First Choice, VSP (Vision Service Plan), Great West, LifeWise, and Medicare.
